No this isn't our golf cart. I do want one and I am saving up so maybe in 6 months I will post pictures of our cart! Our friends brother has a valet business and he rented this one for a party he was working. The kids loved playing on it which just validates my desire to have a golf cart. Everyone loves them. It is not just me. -Bill

Kids say the funniest things
So I know this blog is supposed to be about our kids, but I have to share what had to be the funniest thing I've heard in a while. Yesterday, I was on the playground picking up Lauren, and we were talking with some of her friends. A little boy came up to me and said "Guess what?", so I responded "What?", to which he replied "My mommy told me she had a dream that I would be a good boy and you know what...her dream is coming true today.". He was dead serious and I had to hold back my laughter, but boy, when I got far enough away I let those laughs fly.

Emma is tired
Shamu
On Saturday we went to Sea world. It was out 6th time since we bought our season passes last September. This was the first time that we saw some snakes that you could touch. Lauren and Emma didn't want to touch it at first but we went back later in the day and they both touched it. We did our normal route through the park but we were lucky enough to be at the big fish tanks at feeding time, which was a first. The girls loved that part but of course Shamu was their favorite! -Bill

A little dirt don't hurt
I was driving to pick up the girls from school yesterday and as I turned the corner into the school's parking lot, I saw Lauren on the playground with one of her little friends. Lauren was down at the bottom of the hill, by the newly planted trees, picking up the dusty dirt and pouring it over her head. Her friend was doing the same. I was mortified! She looked as though she'd been working in the coal mine all day. When I got to her, she told me she was taking a shower, using the dirt as her pretend water. I had to give her points for the imagination. I just wonder what the other little girl told her mommy :-)
